Washington, D.C., November 15, 2006 - Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) President Dave McCurdy issued the following statement in reaction to the Senate confirmation yesterday of EIA 2005-06 Board of Governors Member Donald C. Winter as Secretary of the Navy.

His work as president of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector and as president and CEO of TRW Systems, coupled with his groundbreaking efforts with one of the leading government incubators of innovation, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, will prove beneficial to the nation as the U.S. continues to refine its naval military capabilities through cutting-edge technologies in the years ahead.
