In preparation for next week’s World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference in Cancun, Mexico, the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) has released a position paper regarding tariff elimination for the electronics sector.   EIA’s position paper offers compelling arguments on behalf of the high-tech industry, urging tariff elimination and a simultaneous focus on non-tariff trade barriers in order to improve international market access and consumer choice.  Please click here to read the position paper attached.
