Media Advisory: EIA Urges Tariff Elimination for Electronics Sector at WTO Cancun Ministerial Conference

In preparation for next week’s World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference in Cancun, Mexico, the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) has released a position paper regarding tariff elimination for the electronics sector. EIA’s position paper offers compelling arguments on behalf of the high-tech industry, urging tariff elimination and a simultaneous focus on non-tariff trade barriers in order to improve international market access and consumer choice.
