Arlington, Va. - The Internet Security Alliance (ISAlliance) today announced its newly elected Executive Committee leadership. The ISAlliance Executive Committee is made up of the organization’s Sponsor-level members and is the ongoing strategic decision-making and policy body of the ISAlliance.  The new Executive Committee leadership includes:

• Chairman - Dr. William Hancock, Chief Security Officer, Exodus, a Cable & Wireless Service
• Vice Chairman - John Shaughnessy, Senior Vice President of Risk Management, Visa U.S.A.
• Vice Chairman  -  Doug Goodall, President and CEO, RedSiren 
• Treasurer - Tom Orlowski, Vice President, Information Systems, National Association of Manufacturers

Dr. William Hancock, Chief Security Officer for Exodus, a Cable & Wireless Service, is the newly elected chairman of the ISAlliance. Dr. Hancock is an international expert in networks, security, e-commerce, and strategic as well as tactical technology design and implementation.  Dr. Hancock is also co-chair of the White House Committee on Business-to-Business Security Standards, chair of the newly created Cybersecurity committee of the National Reliability and Interoperability Council to create best practices in cybersecurity for the Homeland Defense department at the White House, and an advisor to the White House Office of Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Assessment Office (CIAO.)

John Shaughnessy, Senior Vice President of Risk Management of Visa U.S.A., and Doug Goodall, President and CEO of Red Siren, will serve as vice chairmen for the ISAlliance.

John Shaughnessy oversees all aspects of key risk management and anti-fraud operations for Visa U.S.A.  He also serves as a Visa representative to BITS, the technology group for The Financial Services Roundtable; is a trustee on the Board of the Coalition for the Prevention of Economic Crime (a subsidiary of the National White Collar Crime Center); and most recently represented the United States as a delegate to the G8 meeting on Cyber-Crime in Tokyo.

Mr. Goodall brings more than 29 years of executive management experience in the high technology sector to the ISAlliance.  Under his leadership, RedSiren has grown to become one of the largest privately held security companies in the world.  With over 800 customers on three continents, a broad range of unique security offerings, strong ties to Carnegie Mellon University, and responsibility for the International Information Integrity Institute, RedSiren is a leader within its field. 

Tom Orlowski, Vice President of Information Systems for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), was elected Treasurer.  NAM strives to enhance the competitiveness of manufacturers and to improve American living standards by shaping a legislative and regulatory environment conducive to U.S. economic growth, and to increase understanding among policymakers, the media and the general public about the importance of manufacturing to America's economic strength.
